Marco travels. Not always on purpose.
Sometimes he arrives somewhere familiar, just slightly off, another version of the same place.
He doesn’t die. He just ends up elsewhere.
These are his notes on places, people, food, and things that do not quite add up.

I have returned from a very pleasant long weekend at Emily Resort, although “returned” may be an overly optimistic description of my present circumstances.

After spending last week sick, surviving several anomalies, and somehow making yesterday’s bizarre trip to Azuma, I made an executive decision this morning:

I had planned a calm Thursday.

After several days of being sick and barely eating, which for me is not so much an illness as a temporary collapse of civilization, I finally felt well enough for my first walk outside. Since returning to food after such a period requires caution, wisdom and at least the appearance of self-control, I decided to start small with a quick lunch and went to 1708 Pizza di Napoli on Krakivska Street, 1.

I spent the last several days in bed at the !FEST Hotel in Lviv with a fever, muscle pain, vomiting and the complete inability to eat.

I had to leave Lviv this morning.

Tuesday began with a new café.
