Reality Can Wait
After spending last week sick, surviving several anomalies, and somehow making yesterday’s bizarre trip to Azuma, I made an executive decision this morning:
No adventures today.
I went to Emily Resort, swam until my muscles stopped complaining, ate an unreasonable amount of good food, rested by the water, and let the spa attempt repairs that modern medicine had apparently overlooked.
For once, no doors opened into another reality. No animals behaved suspiciously. No stranger whispered that only I could save their world.
Just swimming, food, sleep, warm water, and the rare luxury of reality minding its own business.
Should the multiverse collapse today, it will have to leave a message.
